A La Cage receipt is the bill from your table or the confirmation of an order on lacagechezvous.com. If you forgot to show your Club Cage virtual card before paying, or forgot to log in when ordering online, you can still claim points on the closed and paid transaction by following the procedure in the Club Cage app.
Claiming points on a paid bill
To earn as you go, show your virtual card before you finish paying. When that did not happen, the Club Cage terms let you request points on a transaction that is already closed or paid:
- in a restaurant, when the card was not presented before payment
- online on lacagechezvous.com, when you were not logged in to Club Cage
- through an online ordering or delivery partner, in the same case
Open the Club Cage app and follow the claim procedure there. Points earned show in your profile in the app within 48 hours of the eligible transaction.
What earns and what does not
Points are based on eligible items after discounts and before taxes. No points are issued on gift card purchases, taxes, tips, delivery charges or online transaction fees. At redemption, 500 points are worth one dollar, and points can pay for eligible items in the restaurant or on lacagechezvous.com.
The receipt when you pay with a gift card
The balance of your La Cage gift card appears on your receipt after every transaction, and you can check it on the website. If a digital gift card ordered online never reached its recipient, have them check their junk folder, then write to marketing@cage.ca.
Looking up an old bill
La Cage's pages do not describe a receipt lookup. The Club Cage app shows the points you earned, not an itemized bill. For a game night with clients, keep the paper bill with the tip written in.
La Cage bills captured before the third period
A La Cage bill usually changes hands in a crowded room, and the paper is easy to lose. Photograph it with the receipt scanner right after you pay and the items, taxes and tip are read for you. Orders from lacagechezvous.com can come in through email receipt capture, and the evening lands on your expense report.
