How to find a Dropbox receipt or invoice

To find a Dropbox receipt or invoice on a personal plan, select your avatar, then Manage Account and Billing, and choose Invoice or Receipt beside the payment. On a team plan, an admin with billing access finds them in the Admin console, under Billing and Payment history.
Plus, Family, Professional and Essentials
- Select your avatar, then Manage Account.
- Open Billing.
- Select Invoice or Receipt next to the transaction, then Print invoice or Print receipt if you need paper.
On a Family plan, only the Family manager sees billing. If a transaction is missing, Dropbox lets you look up a credit or debit card purchase to find the receipt.
Standard, Business, Advanced and Business Plus
- An admin with billing access opens the Admin console.
- Go to Billing, then the Payment history tab.
- To find a specific receipt, select Find receipt, enter the transaction ID and submit.
Teams that pay by manual invoice receive the invoice at the billing contact's email address, and request copies by emailing invoices@dropbox.com.
VAT and GST numbers
Professional and Essentials users add a VAT or GST number under Billing, Invoice details. Team admins add it in the Admin console's Billing tab, if the team pays by card, PayPal or direct debit. A tax number only appears on future invoices; it cannot be added to one already issued. The tax you pay depends on your plan and your billing postal code.
Company name on invoices
On Plus, invoices cannot be edited, but you can change the name shown on future invoices. On Standard and higher, admins can edit the billing name and address on the most recent invoice. For your company name to appear, it has to match your Dropbox account information.
Bought in an app store
A subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play is billed by Apple or Google. Get the receipt from your purchase history or order history there.
Dropbox payments on file every renewal
Teams paying by invoice get each invoice by email at the billing contact, which email receipt capture picks up as soon as it lands. For card-paying teams and personal plans, where the invoice sits on the Billing page, connect the account and our AI agent signs in after each renewal and saves the invoice and receipt with bill fetching. Subscription tracking keeps the renewal date visible before it charges again.
