For an Indigo online order, the confirmation email and your order history page are the records. In-store receipts are harder for now: Indigo's FAQ says store purchase history is temporarily unavailable on its site, and it expects to bring it back no later than January 2027. Until then, keep the paper receipt, and use plum Point Transaction History to confirm a store purchase happened.
Online orders on the new site
Indigo moved to a new website on May 11, 2026. Orders placed since then are charged at checkout rather than when they ship, and you get one charge and one confirmation. Your order history page lists them. If you cancel before the order processes, the refund is automatic.
Pre-orders from the old site
Pre-orders placed before May 11, 2026 keep their original terms and are only charged when they ship. They stay in Indigo's legacy system until fulfilled, reachable through a separate tool linked from your order history page. Indigo plans to retire that system in 2027. Save any document you need from it before then.
Store purchase history is paused
Indigo's FAQ gives no workaround beyond the expected return date, which makes the paper receipt the only full record of a store purchase this year.
plum Point Transaction History as a lookup
Sign in at indigo.ca/plumrewards and choose Point Transaction History to see every transaction made with your plum membership in the last 360 days. It confirms the date and store of a purchase, though it is a points record rather than a receipt. Your points balance also prints on the in-store receipt when you shop with your plum card. Forgot the card? Go back within 14 days with the original receipt and Indigo will award the points.
Indigo receipts kept while the history is down
Teachers buying classroom books and anyone expensing reading for work feel the missing store history most. Photograph each store receipt with the receipt scanner before it gets tucked in a book. Online order confirmations go through email receipt capture, and both kinds of Indigo purchase land on the expense report together.
