How to get a Barnes & Noble receipt

For a Barnes & Noble online order, open My Account on bn.com, click My Order History in the left column and choose View Order Details. That page shows the card brand, the last four digits and the charges applied. In-store purchases and Store Reservation orders don't appear in Order History. The register receipt is the only record of a store purchase.
My Order History, the online lookup
- Go to your My Account page and sign in.
- Click My Order History in the left column.
- Find the order and click View Order Details.
Order History covers orders placed on bn.com and papersource.com in the past 14 months, including Buy Online, Pick Up in Store orders. Older orders drop off the list.
What Order Details shows
Beyond the items, Order Details lists the brand of card used, the last four digits of the card number and the charges applied. While an order can still be changed, the same page offers Cancel Items, Change Shipping Address and Update Payment. If the Update Payment button is gone, the window for changes has passed.
Store purchases
Barnes & Noble's help says plainly that in-store purchases do not appear in Order History. Keep the paper receipt, or a photo of it, for anything you buy at the register.
Membership at the register
Members show the Member Card at checkout and the discount applies automatically to valid purchases. No card on you? The virtual card is in the Barnes & Noble App. Purchases made before you joined, or without your member number, aren't refunded the discount later. To see your number and expiration date, scroll to Memberships on My Account and click Manage Membership. It only appears when your bn.com email matches the email on your membership profile.
Barnes & Noble receipts kept in one place
Online orders keep 14 months of history while store buys keep none, which splits a year of books across two places. Connect your bn.com account and our AI agent saves each order's details from Order History through bill fetching. The receipt scanner handles the register slips, and expense reports bring both together when the books were bought for work.
