Structube invoices an order as soon as you place it and sends an order confirmation. Keep that email: Structube asks for the original receipt or the e-mail receipt, a valid piece of ID and the credit card used for the purchase when you pick up an order. The same receipt is needed for a return within 7 days or a price adjustment within 14 days. Structube's FAQ does not describe a way to look up past receipts online.
Picking up an online order
Store pick-up orders can take up to 10 business days to reach the store, or up to 14 outside Quebec and Ontario. You get an email when the items leave the Distribution Centre and a text message when the order is ready. Orders not collected within 14 days of becoming available are cancelled and refunded. For Distribution Centre pick-up, wait for the email, then call 1-877-721-3787 24 hours before you go. Either way, bring the receipt, ID and the card.
On delivery day: the red envelope
For a home delivery, the packing slip is attached to one of the boxes in a red envelope. Check it against what arrived before the crew leaves, and write any damage or missing piece on the packing slip. The transporter does not accept responsibility for damage that isn't noted there. Keep all packaging if something is damaged and call Structube right away.
Returns and price adjustments
Structube accepts returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery or pick-up, on presentation of the original receipt. Items must be in original condition, and keeping the original packaging is strongly encouraged. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and you pay any delivery fees for the return. A price adjustment is granted within 14 days of delivery or pick-up, again with the original receipt.
Structube receipts filed before the 7-day window closes
Furniture for a home office or a rental unit is a real expense, and Structube's short return window makes the receipt urgent. Email receipt capture files the e-mail receipt the moment Structube sends it, the same receipt Structube asks for at pick-up. A paper receipt from a store purchase goes through the receipt scanner, and the purchase is ready for your expense report or your accountant.
