Whataburger stores your qualifying purchases in the app. On iPhone, go to More, then Account History. On Android, open the navigation menu at the top left and choose Account History. If you forgot to scan your barcode in the restaurant, Whataburger lets you add the visit with a valid receipt through its Add a Visit link.
Account History in the app
Whataburger's FAQ answers the question "Do I need to keep a record of my purchases?" with a no, because the app keeps them. Account History is the place to check a past purchase date or amount. It only holds purchases linked to your account, which means a visit where you skipped the scan will not show until you add it.
Adding a visit with a receipt
Missed the scan at the register? Use the Add a Visit link from the Whataburger FAQ and enter the receipt details. Have the receipt itself in front of you, since a valid receipt is what the claim relies on.
Online orders and the confirmation email
As long as you are signed in, online orders earn points automatically, and they should appear within 24 hours. The confirmation email is where you open the Order Status screen with View Order, and where curbside guests check in. For delivery, a refund is automatic if the order was cancelled before a driver was assigned or by the driver. Otherwise, send a refund request through the Contact Us form.
A lost restaurant receipt
Whataburger's FAQ does not describe a way to reprint a counter receipt. For a visit linked to your account, Account History shows the purchase. For anything else, keep the paper.
Meals on the road
Late-night stops on a work trip are easy to forget by the time the expense report is due. The itemized receipt is the better record for the claim, since it shows food items rather than a bare amount on a card statement.
Whataburger receipts kept for the trip report
Account History tracks points, not expense claims. Photograph the counter receipt with the receipt scanner and the total and date are read before the paper fades. Online order confirmations can go through email receipt capture, and both end up on the trip's expense report.
