Vistaprint emails your tax invoice once the order has shipped, not when you place it. If the email is gone, sign in and open Order History & Reorder to download a copy of the invoice at any time. Vistaprint calls the tax invoice the official record for tax reporting and refunds.
Why the invoice is not there yet
Invoices are generated only after an order leaves the production facility. Until then, Order History shows the shipment status instead. Multi-item orders that ship separately are worth checking one by one.
Invoice lookup in Order History & Reorder
- Sign in and go to My Account > Order History & Reorder.
- Search by order number if you have it; it is also in your order confirmation email.
- Open the order to see items, pricing and status.
- Use Print Order Details to download or print a summary, or download the tax invoice once it is available.
Vista x Wix subscription invoices
Website subscriptions bought through Vistaprint have their own billing page. Open your account dashboard, choose Subscriptions, click Manage next to the plan, and select Invoice beside the charge under Billing History. Use View all for older charges. If the subscription is not listed, Wix may be billing it directly.
Sales tax and exemptions in Canada
Vistaprint Canada notes that GST applies to shipping on orders delivered within Canada. Customers with a GST, HST, PST or QST exemption email their documentation to ExemptSalesTax@vista.com to request a refund of the tax. To claim input tax credits, CRA expects your invoice to show the supplier's GST/HST registration number once a purchase reaches $100. Check the tax invoice for it.
Vistaprint invoices for every print run
Business cards, flyers and signage often ship in several boxes, each with its own invoice email days after the order. Those emails are filed by email receipt capture as they arrive.
