HP

To get an HP Instant Ink invoice, sign in to your HP Instant Ink account (or your Instant Ink for Business account), click HP Instant Ink, then Print and Payment History. Choose the year and click Download beside the billing cycle you need, or Download All Invoices to save the whole year. HP All-In Plan customers find their statements in a different place, under Account on the HP Smart website.

Downloading an Instant Ink invoice

  1. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account. Business subscribers sign in to Instant Ink for Business.
  2. Click HP Instant Ink, then Print and Payment History.
  3. Expand the Print and Payment History section and pick the year.
  4. Click Download for one billing cycle, or Download All Invoices.

Each invoice covers one billing cycle. HP points customers whose bill came in higher than expected to the same page, because the invoice itemizes what was charged for that cycle.

When an invoice will not open

HP's support article says a missing invoice usually means one of two things: the invoice system is down, or it is still waiting for pending information updates. The fix HP gives is to try again later. A cycle that closed today may not have its PDF ready yet.

HP All-In Plan statements

The HP All-In Plan for Print keeps its billing apart from Instant Ink. Go to the HP Smart website, select Sign In and enter your account details. Then click Account in the left menu and open HP All-in plan statements. Looking for an All-In statement under Print and Payment History will come up empty.

Instant Ink for business records

An Instant Ink charge on a company card shows an amount and little else. The invoice shows which cycle it covers, which is what a bookkeeper needs to code it to the right month. At year end, Download All Invoices gives you every cycle for the selected year in one pass, which beats opening twelve months one by one.

Instant Ink invoices saved every cycle

Instant Ink bills every cycle, and each invoice waits in the HP account until someone goes to get it. With bill fetching, our AI agent signs in to your HP account after a cycle closes, downloads the invoice and files it against the card charge. A home office can pull the year's ink spend together at tax time, and an employee who prints at home for work can attach the invoice to an expense report.
