How to get a UNIQLO receipt

UNIQLO US requires the original receipt for every store return, and an e-receipt counts as proof of purchase. The catch is timing: you must choose the e-receipt at payment, and UNIQLO cannot send it later or resend it if the email is deleted. App members who scan their membership at checkout also see store purchases under Purchase History, In-Store, by the next day.
Choosing an e-receipt at the register
- App members with an account linked to UNIQLO.com get the e-receipt without typing an email.
- Everyone else scans a QR code shown after payment and enters an email address on their phone.
- The e-receipt arrives by email within 24 hours. Check spam before contacting chat support.
- Only one e-receipt is sent per purchase, for security, and there is no SMS option.
You can still take a paper receipt as well, which is the safer choice for anything you might return.
Purchase history lookup in the UNIQLO app
Open the app, go to Purchase History and choose the Store tab for in-store purchases. Items appear by the next day, and only if you scanned your membership at checkout with an app linked to your UNIQLO.com account.
Store returns: original receipt required
Store purchases can be returned to any UNIQLO location within 30 days, new, unwashed and with tags. Refunds go to the original form of payment, and a gift receipt return becomes a store merchandise gift card. Undergarments cannot come back once out of the package, alteration fees are not refunded, and final sale items are excluded. A one-time price adjustment within 14 days also needs the receipt.
Exchanges and receipts that change
A different size or color of the same item can be swapped at any UNIQLO store within 30 days, for store and online purchases alike. Once you exchange or return something, UNIQLO prints a new paper receipt and the e-receipt for those items becomes invalid. Keep that new slip. Online orders return by mail, and store purchases go back in a store.
UNIQLO receipts that do not vanish with one email
A single e-receipt, never resent, is a fragile record for staff fleeces or a production's wardrobe. Email receipt capture files each UNIQLO e-receipt the moment it lands, before it can be deleted. Bill fetching has our AI agent sign in to your UNIQLO account and save online orders, and the reprinted paper receipt after an exchange goes into the Smartbills app.
