For a Swiss Chalet takeout or delivery order placed at order.swisschalet.com or in the app, the order confirmation email is your receipt and holds the order number. For a group order, one person, the admin, pays for everything, which means one email covers the whole meal. In the restaurant, keep the bill you are given.
Three ways to order
Swiss Chalet takes delivery and pre-ordered takeout online at order.swisschalet.com, in the mobile app, or by phone at 1-866-439-0439. Online and app orders produce the confirmation email. For a phone order, ask for the receipt when you pick up or when the driver arrives.
Group ordering for the office
Group ordering is built for a team lunch:
- The admin starts a group order in the app or at order.swisschalet.com, picks the date and time, and can set a spending limit.
- The admin shares a link. Guests do not need an account and add their items to one shared cart.
- Guests can edit until the admin locks the order. The admin reviews it and pays.
The whole group order is charged to the admin, and split payments are not supported. Only the admin sees everyone's items and can apply coupons; each guest sees only their own. Items over the spending limit need a separate order. For expenses, that means the admin's confirmation email is the single receipt for the lunch.
Changes after checkout
To change an order after checkout, the admin calls the call centre with the order number from the confirmation email. Swiss Chalet also says customer service credits must be applied over the phone and cannot be used on online orders.
Finding an order later
Swiss Chalet's FAQ does not describe a receipt lookup or reprint. Keep the confirmation email, since it is also the only place the order number is spelled out for you.
Swiss Chalet group orders filed from the admin's inbox
When the admin pays for the whole table, one Swiss Chalet confirmation email has to reach the books. Email receipt capture picks it up with the order number and total. A dine-in bill goes in through the receipt scanner, and the team lunch is ready on the expense report.
