A Popeyes receipt is the paper one handed over at the restaurant, and Popeyes' Rewards terms say lost, stolen or misplaced receipts cannot be replaced. Hold on to it. If you forgot to scan the app at the register, visit popeyes.com/claim-points within 48 hours of the purchase and use that receipt to add the points to your account.
Claiming points from a restaurant receipt
Popeyes Rewards members earn 10 points for every US dollar spent, before taxes, fees and discounts. Points come in on app and website orders, when you scan the QR code in the app at the register, or when you pay with a card linked to your account. The claim page covers the case where none of that happened:
- Sign in to your Popeyes account, since claiming requires registration.
- Go to popeyes.com/claim-points within 48 hours of the in-restaurant purchase.
- Enter the details from the receipt.
Only participating US restaurants support receipt claims, and only one receipt per day is eligible. A valid receipt is required.
When points never show up
Points should post within 48 hours of an eligible purchase. If they have not, Popeyes points you to popeyes.com/support. Requests for missing points must reach Popeyes within 60 days of the transaction. A gap noticed at month end is still fixable.
Is there a way to look a receipt up?
Popeyes' public pages do not describe a receipt lookup or a reprint service. The terms state plainly that a lost receipt cannot be replaced. For a meal ordered in the app or on the website, your Popeyes account is where that order lives. For a meal ordered through a delivery app, the receipt stays with that app.
Receipt or card slip for an expense claim
When you buy lunch for a crew or a client, keep the itemized receipt from the counter. A card slip shows the amount and the card, but not the items, and an approver usually wants both. Taking a photo right after you pay protects you against the faded thermal paper problem too.
Popeyes receipts kept before they fade
Since Popeyes will not reissue a receipt, the paper you leave with is the only copy. Snap it with the receipt scanner before it goes in the bag and the total, date and items are read for you. App order emails can follow through email receipt capture, and both feed the expense report for the week.
