How to get a Lululemon receipt

Lululemon

Lululemon requires proof of purchase for returns, but proof can be a packing slip, a paper or online receipt, the delivery confirmation email, or, for Lululemon Members, the purchase history in your profile. If you have none of those, or Lululemon cannot verify what you bring, you may be asked for ID such as a driver's license or passport. The refund then goes on a Lululemon gift card, or as applicable law requires.

Purchase history lookup in your Lululemon profile

Lululemon's guest profile system links your in-store and online profiles. Store purchases and web orders end up in one Purchase History. From it you can check an order's status, start a return, or, as a Member, use it as your proof of purchase.

Your profile also has a Closet, a history of the products you own with their sizes and colours. It helps you reorder, but it is the purchase history that counts at checkout.

The 30-day window and condition rules

  • 30 days from delivery for online orders, or from the purchase date in store.
  • Purchases made between October 13 and December 24 can be returned or exchanged until January 23.
  • Items must be unwashed and unworn with the original hangtags. Shoes can be worn but must come back in the box.
  • Customized product is final sale, and every return is inspected and can be rejected.

Online purchases can be returned online or in store. Store purchases go back to a store, or you can contact Lululemon to set up an online return.

Returning to Lululemon without a receipt

When proof is missing or cannot be verified, Lululemon may ask for one of these IDs:

  • US, Canadian or Mexican driver's license
  • US state or Canadian provincial ID
  • Canadian Health Card
  • Passport
  • Mexican Matricular Consular or Mexican Voter Registration
  • A third-party document, such as a utility bill, showing your first name, last name and address

The details are used for fraud detection and return authorization, and they are shared with Lululemon's third-party return verification system. The refund comes as a Lululemon gift card unless the law where you are says otherwise.

Exchanges happen in stores only

Lululemon cannot process an exchange online. Take the item to a Lululemon store, where the exchange follows the same return policy, proof of purchase included.

Lululemon receipts stored outside the Closet

Leggings bought for a studio you teach in, or a jacket you expense for work, need a receipt that outlives the 30-day window. Since store and web purchases share one Lululemon Purchase History, bill fetching lets our AI agent gather both kinds in a single pass. Email receipt capture files the delivery confirmation emails Lululemon accepts as proof. For a store receipt on paper, one photo in the Smartbills app is enough.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, for Lululemon Members. Your profile's Purchase History links in-store and online purchases, and Members can use it as proof of purchase for a return.

Possibly. Without verifiable proof, Lululemon may ask for an ID such as a driver's license, passport or a utility bill with your name and address, and it refunds you on a Lululemon gift card or as the law requires.

No. Exchanges are only done in Lululemon stores and follow the return policy. Online purchases can still be returned online for a refund.
