For a Chipotle online or app order, the order confirmation emailed to the address you entered is your receipt; check your spam or junk folder if it is missing. For an in-store order, Chipotle's Customer Care team can help: chat with Pepper or submit the form on the Contact Us page with the date and time of purchase, the restaurant address, the items ordered and the order total.
Online and app orders
There is no separate receipt to request for a digital order: the confirmation email is it. Order while signed in to Chipotle Rewards if you want the points, because orders placed online as a guest cannot be added through a Points Request later.

Lost the paper from the counter? Contact Customer Care through Pepper or the Contact Us form and include:
- the date and time of purchase
- the restaurant address
- the items ordered
- the order total
Points Requests
Forgot to scan for points in the restaurant? Keep the receipt and submit a Points Request in the app or online within 30 days of the transaction. You can send up to 2 per day and 4 per month. Points Requests do not cover orders placed before you joined, online guest orders, gift card purchases, third-party orders, 1-800-CHIPOTLE orders, or catering paid in person without scanning your member card.
Chipotle does not send a confirmation email for a Points Request. If the purchase is verified, the points show up in your account within 24 hours.
Catering for the office
Chipotle does not offer house accounts, PO numbers or invoicing for catering orders. A tax-exempt catering order has to be placed for pay-at-pickup through 1-800-CHIPOTLE. That way the cashier can check your tax-exempt documentation. If the order is delivered or prepaid, you pay the tax upfront and Customer Care reimburses it later.
DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub
Orders placed directly through a delivery partner are handled by that partner. Ask DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub for the receipt, not Chipotle.
Chipotle lunches on the expense report
Since Chipotle catering comes without an invoice, the confirmation email is the only paperwork for a team lunch. Email receipt capture files every Chipotle confirmation as it arrives. Pay for a bowl at the counter and a photo in the receipt scanner takes care of it; both kinds of meal land on your expense report.
