Sage

To download your Sage subscription invoice, sign in as the business owner, select your business name, then Manage business account, and open the Invoices tab. The invoice opens in a new tab to save or print. No such tab? Sage emails your monthly invoices to the business owner instead.

Opening the invoice

  1. Sign in as the business owner, or a user with permission to manage the business account.
  2. Select your business name in the navigation bar, then Manage business account.
  3. Open the Invoices tab (or Subscription and Invoices, then View my invoices).
  4. Select the invoice. It opens in a new tab; use your browser to download, print or save it.

If there is no View my invoices option

Some accounts do not show the option. In that case, Sage emails your monthly invoices instead. Look in the business owner's inbox.

Subscribed through Apple

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, the invoices are with Apple, not in Sage.

A copy or a correction

For an invoice you cannot download, or one that needs to be amended, contact Sage customer care in Canada.

Sage 50

These steps are for Sage Accounting. Sage 50 customers get their subscription invoices through their Sage account or customer care.

The software you record everything else in

Accounting software is a business expense with GST/HST on it like any other, and it is the one most often missing from the books.

Sage invoices captured each month

Where Sage emails the monthly invoice, email receipt capture files it from the owner's inbox with the GST/HST read off for tax time. Where the invoice sits under Manage business account, connect the owner login and our AI agent signs in each month and saves it through bill fetching.
