How to download DocuSign invoices

To download a DocuSign invoice, open Admin, choose Plan and Billing (or Subscription and Billing) and select the transaction number in Billing History to open the PDF. Only the account administrator can see invoices. If you do not have the Admin tab, ask your administrator for a copy.
Opening an invoice
- Open Admin.
- Under Account, choose Plan and Billing (on some accounts, Subscription and Billing).
- In Billing History, select the transaction number. The invoice opens as a PDF to save or print.
Requesting a copy
Administrators can also ask for a copy through the web form on DocuSign's Get Support page.
Adding a VAT or GST number
Administrators add the number under Admin, Plan and Billing, Update Payment and Tax Details, in the tax information field. In the EU, a valid VAT number means DocuSign does not charge VAT; in the UK the reverse charge applies. Customers on plans bought directly from DocuSign's sales team send VAT or GST updates by email or through a support case instead.
US tax exemptions
Customers on direct plans submit exemption certificates through DocuSign's certificate collection link or to its tax-exempt team. Web-plan customers open a support case instead.
Professional services invoices
Invoices for professional services are in the Subscription Center: open Invoices, then the three-dot menu on the invoice, and choose Download Invoice.
Corrections
Invoices are static. A change to the account after an invoice is issued does not update it, and only DocuSign Support can regenerate an invoice with new details.
DocuSign invoices collected without the admin
Since only the account administrator can open invoices, finance usually has to ask for each one. Connect the administrator login once and our AI agent signs in after each billing period and saves the invoice from Billing History with bill fetching. DocuSign's billing emails can be filed by email receipt capture, and subscription tracking shows when the envelope plan renews.
