In RBC Online Banking, select Statements/Documents at the top right of the Accounts Summary page, then download your bank statement from the Account Documents page. In the RBC Mobile app, open More (iOS) or Menu (Android), select Statements and pick the account. RBC keeps up to seven years of archived eStatements.
Online Banking: Account Documents
- Sign in and stay on the Accounts Summary page.
- Select Statements/Documents, at the top right of the screen.
- On Account Documents, choose the bank account and download the statement.
- Use the dropdown menu to switch to a different statement period.
Credit card, investment, loan, mortgage and tax documents are on the same page.
In the RBC Mobile app
Select More on iOS or Menu on Android, then Statements, then the account. The app shows your last six statements first; a dropdown reaches other periods. Statements can be viewed, printed or saved to your computer or phone.
What paper and branch statements cost
- Monthly paper statement: $3.00, or $3.50 with cheque images. Some accounts and seniors are exempt.
- Interim statement ordered at a branch: $0.75.
- Statement printed in branch and picked up: $5.00.
- Full statement at an ATM: $1.50. A mini statement is free.
To switch every account to eStatements in the app, go to Settings, then Statements, and turn on Switch all to electronic.
Cheque images
RBC lets you view cheque images for free for the last seven years, which helps when a statement line only shows a cheque number. If you also need a void cheque for direct deposit or a pre-authorized debit, see how to get an RBC void cheque.
A statement you cannot find
RBC's tutorial gives 1-800-769-2511 for a statement that does not show up in Account Documents.
RBC statements filed without the $3 fee
Going paperless saves the fee but leaves the filing to you. Connect your RBC Online Banking login and our AI agent saves each new eStatement through bill fetching. Receipts for the business purchases on it come in through email receipt capture, with GST/HST visible for tax time.
