This guide covers TD Canada Trust in Canada. In EasyWeb, select the name on the account at the top of the screen and choose Statements & Documents. Pick the account in the Get statements & documents by account dropdown, filter by year and select a statement to open it as a PDF. TD gives access to up to seven years of past statements online.
Statement lookup in EasyWeb
- Log in to EasyWeb.
- At the top of the screen, select the name on the account, then Statements & Documents.
- Choose the account from the Get statements & documents by account dropdown.
- Use Filter by year to narrow the list.
- Select a statement. It opens as a PDF that you can save or print.
Seven years, counted from the switch
TD's page on monthly online statements says the seven years run from the time you switch, meaning from when you accept the Consent to Electronic Delivery of Documents. It is not counted from the day you opened the account. Someone who went paperless last year will only see last year onward. Keep the paper statements you received before the switch; they are the only copy you hold for those months.
Switching every account to online statements
- Open the Settings & Services menu at the top right of EasyWeb.
- Select Statements & Documents, then the Manage tab.
- Choose Edit your delivery preferences.
- Tick Switch ALL to online, save the changes and accept the consent agreement.
Account activity
EasyWeb also lists Download account activity among its features, for when you want transactions rather than the monthly statement. TD's statement pages do not list the file formats.
TD Bank in the United States
TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, runs a separate online banking service with its own help pages. The EasyWeb steps above apply to Canadian accounts only.
TD statements alongside your receipts
Connect your EasyWeb login and our AI agent saves each new statement as it appears through bill fetching. Your archive then no longer depends on when you switched. For payroll or bill payments you may also need a TD void cheque. Purchases paid from the account still need receipts, which the receipt scanner reads, GST and HST included.
