In the Desjardins app, go to Accounts, select See all, open your everyday account and select Statements, then the month. In AccèsD on a browser, select the everyday account under Accounts, then Statements. The statement is posted on the first day of the month and can be retrieved for seven years.
In the Desjardins app
- In the Accounts section, select See all, then your everyday account.
- Select Statements and choose the month.
In AccèsD on a computer
- Log in to AccèsD.
- Under Accounts, select your everyday account.
- Select Statements and choose the month.
Printing is not available in the mobile app. To print, open the statement in AccèsD in a web browser, download it and print it from there.
Registering for online statements
- App: select More, then Statements and documents. Under Sign up for online statements and documents, select Sign up, accept the terms and select Confirm.
- AccèsD: select Statements and documents. Under Register for online statements and documents, select Accounts, investments and tax information slips, then Register.
Your first online statement appears the following month. After you register, documents, statements and tax slips stop arriving by mail. That includes your tax slips: look for them in AccèsD at tax time instead of waiting for an envelope.
Investment documents follow other rules
Desjardins lists retention periods for investment documents separately, and they differ by product. The seven years apply to everyday account statements.
What a Desjardins statement does not tell you
The statement records each payment and deposit. It does not show what you bought or the GST and QST on a purchase, which is what an input tax credit or a deduction depends on. Keep the receipts too. For a direct deposit form, see how to get a Desjardins void cheque.
Desjardins statements kept with your receipts
Connect your AccèsD login and our AI agent retrieves each statement after the first of the month through bill fetching, avoiding the trip to a browser just to print. Paper receipts from the same purchases go in through the receipt scanner, which reads GST and QST for tax time.
