On tangerine.ca, log in, choose the account and select the Statements button. In the app, tap More, then Profile & Settings, scroll to Documents and choose the statement period and account. Electronic statements are issued monthly for every account except Investment Fund Accounts, which get them quarterly.
On the website
- Log in and choose the account.
- Select the Statements button.
- Open the statement period you need and save the PDF.
In the Tangerine app
- Tap More at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Profile & Settings, scroll down and select Documents.
- Choose the statement period and the account.
Exporting transactions as CSV or QFX
For bookkeeping software, download the transactions rather than the statement. Log in at tangerine.ca, go to Transactions and select Download Transactions, then follow the prompts. Tangerine offers QFX for Quicken, Microsoft Money and Excel CSV. This works on the website only, not in the mobile banking app.
Paper statements and reprints
Most accounts can be switched to paper, which Tangerine sends quarterly for active accounts. Chequing, Children's Savings, Line of Credit, Personal Loan and RSP Loan Accounts stay paperless. Reprinting a past statement costs $5.00 per statement; reprinting the current monthly statement is free. Downloading the PDF yourself avoids the fee. Someone who needs twelve past months for a mortgage file would pay $60 in reprints; the same twelve PDFs cost nothing from the Statements button.
Statement lookup for the tax year
Tangerine's help says every statement you need should appear under Statements. Save all twelve months for the year at once, and keep the CSV export with them if your accountant imports transactions. For a direct deposit form, see how to get a Tangerine void cheque.
Tangerine statements without the $5 reprint
Connect your Tangerine login and our AI agent saves each monthly statement through bill fetching, before you ever need a reprint. Receipts for purchases made from the chequing account are read by the receipt scanner, with GST/HST pulled out for tax time.
