How to get an Eventbrite receipt

For Eventbrite tickets, the order confirmation email sent right after checkout is the receipt. It shows the event, the order number, ticket types and quantity, the total charged, the card type with its last four digits and any taxes collected. Search for mail from noreply@order.eventbrite.com, including your spam folder. If it is missing, the organizer can resend it from their event dashboard.
When a tax invoice comes with the order
Organizers can turn on tax invoices for events in Europe including the UK, Canada outside Saskatchewan, Australia and New Zealand. The invoice is attached to the confirmation email and is also in your Eventbrite account. Tax invoices are not available for events in the US or Saskatchewan. The setting must be on before you order, since tax changes do not apply to past orders.
Needing a more formal invoice
The confirmation email is the only receipt Eventbrite itself generates. For an invoice with your company details, or a tax invoice the organizer did not enable, contact the event organizer. They may be able to refund and reissue the order or send you documentation directly.
For organizers: Eventbrite fee invoices
Eventbrite invoices organizers when a service fee is owed, on the first of each month for the previous month's orders. That happens when ticket payments went through PayPal or Authorize.net, after a lost chargeback, or when a credit exceeded the remaining payout. You are invoiced only once fees pass $5.00, and processor fees are billed by the processor, not on this invoice.
Invoice lookup and payment for organizers
- Go to Manage my events > Finance > Invoices.
- Select an invoice number, then the event name, to see orders, fees, refunds and credits.
- Export the itemized invoice to CSV, Excel or text if you need it.
- Choose Pay now to pay by debit or credit card or with PayPal.
Invoices are due within 30 days. A check by mail is accepted in US dollars only.
Conference tickets that expense themselves
A ticket bought months ahead is easy to forget by the time the trip report is due. The confirmation email from Eventbrite is picked up by email receipt capture and kept with its tax invoice when one is attached. The ticket then joins the flights and hotel on the same expense report. Organizers can have our AI agent collect the monthly fee invoices from Finance through bill fetching.
