How to get an Electrify America receipt

With an Electrify America membership, log in to the app, go to your Account and select Charge history. You can filter sessions by date and share the history by email. If you give your mobile number at the start of a session, the receipt is also texted to you once the car is unplugged, and the charger screen shows it too.
Charge history in the app
Charge history covers your public charging sessions. Filtering by date and sharing by email turns it into a usable report for a month or a trip. Electrify America's terms make you responsible for checking your own transaction history, which is another reason to look at it regularly rather than once a year.
Text receipts
When you start a session, you can provide a mobile phone number. Electrify America then sends the receipt by text when the session ends and the vehicle is unplugged. The total cost is also displayed on the charging station screen.
Paying at the charger without the app
The FAQ documents two receipt routes for someone paying at the charger: the text receipt, if a number was given, and the total on the screen at the end. Take a photo of that screen if you skipped the phone number, because the app's charge history is tied to a membership.
Pricing and idle fees on the total
In many states, Electrify America charges per kilowatt-hour. You pay for the energy delivered. Where pricing is per minute, the rate shows on the charger after the session begins. Idle fees of $0.40 per minute apply if the vehicle is not unplugged and moved within ten minutes after the session ends. A text alert or the screen tells you when charging has finished.
Electrify America charges on record
Highway fast charging tends to happen on trips that end up on an expense claim. Text receipts can be forwarded to your inbox and filed by email receipt capture, and a photo of the charger screen goes in through the receipt scanner. With a membership, our AI agent can sign in and collect the charge history for you via bill fetching.
