How to get a Starbucks receipt

Starbucks keeps a record of every purchase made through a Starbucks Rewards account, and you can print a receipt for any of them yourself. The catch is that it has to be tied to your account: a purchase paid at the register without scanning the app isn't in your history.
Receipt lookup: print from your account History
Starbucks' help centre gives these steps for the website:
- Sign in to your Starbucks Rewards account.
- Open Account in the top right and select History.
- Click the transaction you need. The receipt opens, and you can print it like any other page.
The History page lists purchases, reloads and Star reward redemptions, and lets you add a tip to a purchase. Starbucks says the same options are available in the mobile app. In Canada, the Starbucks Card terms point to starbucks.ca/gift or 1-800-STARBUC to check a card's balance and recent transactions, with the card on hand.
Reload receipts
Receipts for reloading a Starbucks Card don't appear in that view. Starbucks emails them to the address on your Rewards account instead. Your inbox is where to look when you need proof of a reload.
Scan & Pay and mobile orders at the register
If you'd rather have a paper copy, a barista can print a receipt after you pay with Scan & Pay. For a mobile order, a barista at the store you ordered from can print a receipt from the register up to seven days after the order. Starbucks Card purchases also come with a receipt on request, and that receipt shows the card's remaining balance.
Guest checkout and delivery
You can order ahead without a Rewards account using guest checkout, but those orders don't earn Stars and aren't in a member's History. If you need help with a guest order, Starbucks asks you to have a copy of your receipt ready when you chat with an agent. Starbucks also says it doesn't send statements of activity on a Starbucks Card; you're expected to check your transaction history online yourself.
Coffee meetings on an expense report
Coffee with a client is a meals expense, and in Canada only part of it is generally deductible. The printed receipt from History shows the items and the tax, which a bank statement can't.
Starbucks receipts collected from your History
Connect your Starbucks Rewards account and our AI agent signs in to History and saves the receipt for each purchase through bill fetching. There's nothing to print one by one at month-end. Reload receipts that go to your inbox are picked up by email receipt capture, and everything lines up on one expense report.
