Sports Experts

To recover a lost Sports Experts receipt, send the details of the purchase to customer service through the help centre's contact form. For an online order, look in your confirmation email or your sportsexperts.ca account first, which keeps order history, tracking numbers and electronic invoices. Act quickly: the receipt is required for returns and exchanges.

Recovering a lost store receipt

The help centre, published in French, asks for as much detail as you can give: your name, the purchase date, the store, the approximate amount and the payment method used. Precise details make the transaction easier to trace, though recovery depends on what the store can find.

E-invoices in your online account

A sportsexperts.ca account shows your online order history, with tracking numbers and electronic invoices for each order. Emails come from no-reply@sportsexperts.ca; add it to your contacts if confirmations land in junk. Items still sitting in your cart usually mean the order never went through. Gift receipts cannot be added to online orders.

Why the card shows several charges

Your credit card is pre-authorized when you order and charged when items ship. An order sent in several parcels can create several charges, each covering only what shipped. The hold disappears within a few business days, depending on your bank. Match each charge to its e-invoice rather than to the order total.

15-day returns, 30-day exchanges

Returns are accepted within 15 days of purchase and exchanges within 30 days, in store or online, with your receipt. For online orders the 15 days start with the shipping email or, for store pickup, the ready-for-pickup email. Items must be new and unworn with tags and packaging. Mouth guards, swimwear, underwear, headphones, certified climbing gear and heat-moulded skates are among the exclusions. Sports Experts does not offer price adjustments after purchase.

Store pickup and warranty claims

To collect an order, show government photo ID in the name on the order plus the confirmation or e-receipt from your email. For warranty questions, bring the item and proof of purchase to a store; manufacturers set and manage warranties. Hockey sticks may carry a limited 30-day manufacturer warranty if the serial number is readable and the original sticker intact.

GST and QST on the receipt

Sports Experts charges 5% GST and 9.975% QST on eligible purchases; gift cards are not taxed when bought. A club or business claiming input tax credits needs the supplier's GST/HST registration number on purchases of $100 or more, according to the Canada Revenue Agency.

Team gear, receipt by receipt

With only 15 days to return, a Sports Experts receipt needs to be easy to find. Our AI agent for bill fetching signs in to your sportsexperts.ca account and downloads each e-invoice. Paper receipts from the store go through the Smartbills app, and jerseys or equipment for a team or day camp come together in an expense report.
