Smart & Final has two receipt paths. Business customers with a Smart Advantage Card can see in-store purchases in the Business Receipt Portal, as long as the Smart Advantage number was scanned at checkout. Pickup and delivery orders put the final receipt in My Orders under My Account, and a confirmation email with a link to the digital receipt follows once payment is processed.
The Business Receipt Portal lookup
The portal is free for Smart Advantage business accounts. Smart & Final lists what it does:
- Shows an item summary for all purchases in a chosen time period.
- Tracks cash and credit card payments, Visa and Mastercard included.
- Exports your shopping history.
- Lets you review all the taxes you paid.
Sign up or log in from the Receipt Portal page. Its help section, called Digital Receipt Manager, covers reviewing purchase history, printing, exporting and managing information.
Pickup and delivery receipts
Online pricing is store specific. In-store promotions are honored on online orders, and every final discount appears on the receipt. Once payment goes through, look for the confirmation email with the receipt link, or open My Orders. For overcharges, broken or spoiled items, or missing products, Online Support handles refunds by chat or email.
Customers with tax-exempt status can apply that exemption to online orders too, which keeps sales tax off the receipt from the start.
Returns without a receipt
Smart & Final takes returns for a refund or exchange with proof of purchase and ID, paying you back the way you paid: cash, credit, Smart & Final Charge Card or gift card. Without a receipt, anything worth more than $5.00 goes onto a Smart & Final Gift Card. Defective appliances can be exchanged within 14 days, and only with the original receipt. Holiday items need the receipt and must come back at least two days before the holiday.
Smart & Final receipts in your books
Restaurants and offices that stock up at Smart & Final can let our AI agent sign in and pull each online order receipt with bill fetching. Receipt-link emails land in Smartbills through email receipt capture. When a store run wasn't scanned to Smart Advantage, photograph the slip with the receipt scanner so the portal gap doesn't become a bookkeeping gap.
