A Farm Boy receipt is the slip you get at the checkout, and the store asks for it whenever something needs fixing. Farm Boy guarantees the freshness, taste and quality of what it sells and will give you a complete refund or an exchange on an item you're unhappy with, but a proof of purchase is required. Farm Boy's help pages don't describe a way to look up or reprint a store receipt. The slip itself is the record to keep.
The Farm Boy refund policy
The policy is one paragraph long. Bring the item back to the store, show your proof of purchase, and choose a full refund or an exchange. Questions about it go to Farm Boy's Customer Care team.
Fixing a double scan or a wrong price
If an item rang through twice, or you were charged for something pricier than what you picked up, Farm Boy's answer is the same: take the receipt back to the store you visited, and any cashier there can start the refund. Check the slip at home before it goes in the recycling, because the error is only fixable with it.
Salad Bar Card points after the fact
Forgot your Salad Bar Card at the hot bar or salad bar? Email a clear picture of your full receipt and your card number to customercare@farmboy.ca, and Customer Care adds the points. The photo has to show the whole receipt, top to bottom.
Farm Boy products bought on Voilà
Farm Boy private label products are also sold on Voilà, Sobeys' online grocery service. Anything bought there has to be refunded through Voilà, not at a Farm Boy store. Voilà Customer Care answers at 1-877-VOILA-CA (1-877-864-5222) or care@voila.ca, and the order receipt for those purchases comes from Voilà too.
