Receipts and invoices

Calgary Co-op members can find their receipts in the Calgary Co-op app, which lets you view all your Calgary Co-op receipts. The membership terms cover receipts for all in-store and online transactions, and a designated household user can see the member's receipts as well. Online orders also come with an email receipt, which is the proof of purchase Calgary Co-op asks for on a return.

Receipt lookup in the Calgary Co-op app

A purchase is tied to your membership when you say your membership number at checkout, scan your card, or scan the digital card in the app. Members without the app still earn patronage, but the app is where the receipts are listed. App questions go to appsupport@calgarycoop.com or 1-833-310-0095.

Receipts for a household user

A designated household user lives at the same address as the member and shares the member's benefits. The membership terms spell out that this includes viewing receipts for all of the member's in-store and online transactions. Purchases the household user makes with the member number through the app also earn patronage.

Online orders and returns

For orders placed online, the actual price is charged when the order is picked, and that is the price on your receipt. You can return products to any Calgary Co-op retail location with your proof of purchase, meaning the email receipt. Accepted returns are credited to the original payment. If you paid with CC Bonus Cash, that part comes back as a Calgary Co-op gift card or another form of tender. Calgary Co-op may reject a return at its discretion.

Receipts and the annual statement

The total of your receipts is not necessarily the figure used for patronage. Each year Calgary Co-op sends an Account Statement showing your Allocating Purchases, in electronic or paper form, and patronage is calculated from that. Estimated earnings shown in the app can change. For statement questions, Member Relations is at 403-219-6025.

Calgary Co-op receipts in one place

Email receipts from online orders are picked up by email receipt capture as they arrive, ready for a return or an audit. Store receipts from a non-member trip can be photographed with the receipt scanner. Groceries and fuel bought for work then go onto expense reports without digging through the app later.
