To get a RONA invoice for an online purchase, open your RONA account's purchase history, or track a recent order with its order number and email. RONA PRO accounts use RONA's online billing portal. For in-store purchases, RONA's help pages don't describe a way to find a checkout receipt later: keep the one you're handed, or photograph it.
Online purchases
Your RONA account shows the history of your online purchases. For a recent order, order tracking asks for the order number, found in your confirmation email, and the email used at checkout.
RONA PRO accounts
Contractors with a RONA PRO charge account can use RONA online billing, a self-serve portal to view invoices and statements and manage electronic delivery. Registration uses a temporary access code.
Receipts from the store counter
RONA's help pages don't describe a way to find or reprint a checkout receipt once you've left. Treat the one you're handed as the only copy: keep it, or photograph it before you go. A card statement confirms the amount paid to RONA, with no item or tax detail.
If you buy at the counter without a PRO account, keep the receipt: it's what a return, a warranty or an expense claim needs.
Renovation supplies as a business expense
Lumber, tools and hardware bought for a job need the itemized RONA receipt or invoice, not only the card total. From $100, the seller's GST/HST registration number has to be on it to support an input tax credit, and in Québec the QST number as well. At $500 or more, the CRA also expects the buyer's name, a description of the goods and the payment terms.
RONA receipts, saved at the counter
Photograph the receipt in the Smartbills app before you load the truck: every item and tax line is read, and a faded slip stops mattering. Order confirmations from rona.ca and invoices from RONA online billing that reach your inbox are picked up by email receipt capture.
