How to get a Quo (OpenPhone) invoice

Quo, the business phone app formerly called OpenPhone, keeps invoices in Settings, Plan & billing, under Workspace. Open the invoices section, select View next to an invoice and download the PDF. The list covers subscription payments, plan changes and pre-paid credit purchases.
Finding an invoice
- Open the Quo web or desktop app.
- Click Settings in the left menu and choose Plan & billing under Workspace.
- Go to the invoices section and select View next to the invoice.
- Download the PDF.
Past and upcoming subscription payments both appear, along with detailed tax and fee breakdowns.
Telecom taxes on the invoice
Quo collects federal, state and local telecommunication taxes and regulatory surcharges on calling and texting, separate from ordinary sales tax. They apply to customers with a billing address in CA, FL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, VA, WA, WI and WY. Typical lines include 911 fees, state and local utility taxes and the Federal Universal Service Fund, whose rate the FCC adjusts every quarter. Taxes are calculated at the close of each billing cycle, or when another number is purchased.
Pre-paid credits
International calls and texts, API messages and Zapier automations draw on a pre-paid balance. Top it up from Voice & messaging balance with Add funds. Each purchase appears in the invoice list. Unused credit can be applied to the subscription, but only all at once.
Seats, upgrades and payment
Plan upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges, and downgrades start at the next renewal. Members added mid-cycle are prorated too, while a removed member's seat stays billed until the period ends. The card is changed under Payment methods, Update payment method. Renewals charge the card automatically, but the invoice PDF is what you keep.
Quo invoices, credits and fees in order
Between renewals, credit top-ups and per-seat prorations, a Quo workspace can produce several invoices a month. Connect the owner login and our AI agent collects each one from Plan & billing with bill fetching. Emailed copies go to email receipt capture, and the 911, utility and USF lines are kept with the invoice in your tax receipts.
