How to get a Pirate Ship receipt

Pirate Ship has two receipts. A payment receipt proves a charge to your card and is under Reports > View Receipts. A shipment receipt breaks down the postage and extra services for one label, with its tracking number, and opens when you click the shipment on the Ship page. You print either one with your browser's File > Print.
Payment receipts on the Reports page
The Reports page shows your transaction history, account balance, payment totals and receipts, pending refunds and return label totals. A payment receipt names the card you paid with, but it does not list the labels bought with that money. The billing address on file appears on these receipts; Pirate Ship keeps it out of Settings. Opening a receipt is how you check it.
Shipment receipt lookup on the Ship page
To find one label, search for it on the Ship page and click it to open the details. That page itemizes the postage and any extras and carries the tracking number, which makes it the document to forward when a customer asks what shipping cost. Leave the search box blank and press the magnifying glass to list every shipment you have created.
Getting payment receipts by email
- Open Settings > Account Settings.
- Scroll to Notifications.
- Turn on Payment Receipts.
You then get an email each time your card on file is charged, matching the receipt on the Reports page. The setting is per user. Each person on a shared account turns it on while signed in as themselves.
Exporting for your books
Both the Reports page and the Ship page export to a spreadsheet for the date range and transaction type you select, using the Export button beside the search bar. A wrong billing address goes to Pirate Ship support through the chat button or support@pirateship.com.
Pirate Ship receipts matched to the right orders
Payment receipts show the card charge and shipment receipts show the label, and reconciling the two by hand is slow. With Payment Receipts switched on, email receipt capture files every Pirate Ship charge the moment it lands. Our AI agent can also sign in and collect the Reports page through bill fetching, and postage is grouped by client in expense reports.
