Five Below's return policy ties every refund and exchange to the original receipt or the online order confirmation, and its help center does not describe a return without one. What it does offer is a receipt search: send its customer team the purchase date, the exact amount, the store, the last four digits of your card and a few of the items, and it will look for a copy. Online invoices can be pulled up without signing in.

Five Below's high five team asks for all of these in your request:
- the date of the purchase, and the approximate time if you know it
- the exact amount paid
- the store location, from Five Below's store locator
- the last 4 digits of the card used, or the word CASH
- some of the items you bought
The more precise the time and items, the easier the match.

The 90-day policy and its conditions
Unopened or defective merchandise can go back to any Five Below within 90 days of purchase for a full refund to the original payment method, with the original receipt or online order confirmation. Two conditions trip people up:
- The card used for the purchase must be present to receive the refund.
- Gift cards are not returnable, and bulk orders follow their own return policy.
Missed the 90 days? Unopened or defective products can still be exchanged at any time for the same item or one of equal value, again with the receipt or confirmation. Card credits can take 2 to 10 business days to post.
Mailing back a ship-to-home order
If no store is close, contact Five Below with the order number, the items and the reason, then ship them to its eCommerce returns center in Indianapolis with a tracked carrier and reply with the tracking number. Five Below does not supply labels or refund the return shipping.
