Chit Chats receipts live in your account under Settings / Credits & Billing. The Billing section has three views: Current Statement, All Statements and All Transactions. Each monthly statement downloads as a PDF Statement Summary, and clicking any transaction number opens a details page that Chit Chats says can serve as a receipt.
How Chit Chats charges you
There is no monthly bill to pay. You add credits to your account in advance, after saving a payment method, and each shipment or service draws them down. Auto reload can top the balance up for you so shipments are not held for lack of funds. Card details are stored and encrypted by Stripe, not by Chit Chats.
Monthly statements as PDF
All Statements lists your past months. The PDF Statement Summary includes every transaction for the month and shows Chit Chats' GST/HST/QST registration numbers for your records. A CSV option exports the same month's transactions. Current Statement shows the month in progress: opening balance, payments and adjustments, charges and refunds, closing balance and amount due.
Transaction lookup and single receipts
All Transactions filters by date, by category (payment, charge, refund or return) and by type, such as postage fee. The page shows the taxes charged on postage, goods and services. Pick Add Credits as the type to see only your top-ups. Click a transaction number to open its details when you need proof of one shipment.
Totals for a quarter or a year
Set the date filter to the period you need and export the CSV. Chit Chats emails the file to you, and you add up the columns in Excel or Google Sheets. Printing the page is the other option when you only need a short range.
Chit Chats statements ready for the books
Credits you buy and postage you spend are two different numbers, and the monthly statement is the document that ties them together. Our AI agent can sign in to Chit Chats with your login and file each Statement Summary as it closes through bill fetching. Shipping costs then sort into expense reports, and the GST, HST or QST on postage is on hand for your tax receipts at year end.
