How to get a Brevo invoice

PDF or e-invoice

Every invoice can be downloaded as a PDF. Invoices above €250 issued by Brevo's German entity to companies in Germany can also be downloaded as an XML e-invoice that accounting software reads directly.

Export an account statement

On the same page, click Export account statement, pick a date range, and click Export CSV. The default is the current calendar year. The file lists invoices and credit notes from newest to oldest, credit notes as negative amounts, and ends with totals for amount paid and balance. It is a quick way to reconcile a year of Brevo charges.

Invoices by email at renewal

1. Open My plan, Billing information.
2. Under Billing notifications, enter the address in Invoice recipient email.
3. Turn on the option to receive invoices by email when the plan renews.
4. Click Confirm billing information.

Company and VAT number

In Billing information, fill in name, company and address as they should appear on invoices, and choose I have a VAT number to enter it. Changes apply to future invoices only. Once issued, an invoice cannot be modified. Admin accounts with sub-organizations update this at the admin level. Pending or unpaid invoices can still take a purchase order number.

France's e-invoicing reform

For VAT-registered customers invoiced by Brevo's French entity, e-invoicing became mandatory on September 1, 2026. Invoices now go to your approved reception platform as XML, the email option is no longer available, and PDFs in Brevo are duplicates only. Without the e-invoicing compliance section completed, you are treated as a consumer and cannot recover VAT.
