At bp and Amoco stations in the US, every transaction completed through the earnify app has a mobile receipt in the app, showing the savings applied. earnify replaced BPme Rewards. Purchases paid by swiping a card or typing your phone number at the pump are not app transactions, which leaves the printed receipt as your record.
earnify replaced BPme Rewards
bp describes earnify as its new loyalty program replacing BPme Rewards, with 5 cents off per gallon for every member. The ampm app is no longer active. If you still look for receipts in the BPme app, switch to earnify.
Mobile receipts and transaction history
- After each fuel purchase made in earnify, a mobile receipt appears in the app with the savings applied.
- The Rewards section of your earnify account lists transaction history with the amount saved on each fuel purchase.
Paying for fuel in the app
earnify asks you to confirm the pump before it sends payment and enables it. The pump stays authorized for one minute; if you don't lift the nozzle within 45 seconds, the transaction is cancelled and no money is taken. bp is not responsible if the wrong pump was selected.
Paying with your phone number instead
You can use your mobile number as a Loyalty ID: press cancel, rewards or loyalty on the pump, enter your number, press enter and swipe your payment card. You still get the discount, but the payment happens at the pump, not in the app. Take the paper receipt.
Receipt lookup for a past fill-up
For purchases made in earnify, open the app's mobile receipt or the Rewards history. bp's FAQ describes no lookup for card or cash purchases made outside the app.
bp receipts kept with the rest of your fuel spend
Forward earnify mobile receipts to your inbox and our email receipt capture files them. Paper receipts from loyalty-ID purchases go through the receipt scanner, and work trips become an expense report in a few taps.
