How to get a Costco gas receipt

Gas receipt lookup on Costco.com

1. Sign in to the Costco.com account linked to your membership.
2. Select Orders & Returns at the top right of the home page.
3. Under Orders & Purchases, open the In-Warehouse tab.
4. Use the Showing dropdown to move between six-month periods.

Only purchases on the membership linked to the account you are signed in to are listed.

Which fill-ups are covered

Costco lists gasoline among the purchases with limited online history: gas is only available for purchases on or after 9/30/24. Fill-ups before that date are not in the In-Warehouse tab. New purchases can take up to 24 hours to appear. Check the day after you fill up.

Fill-ups that are too old

The In-Warehouse tab covers up to two years. For a gas purchase that is missing or older, Costco directs you to your local warehouse or Customer Service, and for anything past two years, to the membership desk.

Gas bought on a household card

If someone else on your membership filled up, the receipt shows only when their purchases sit on the membership linked to your account. Check that you are signed in to the right one before assuming a receipt is missing.

Using Costco gas receipts for business driving

When you claim actual vehicle expenses, each receipt supports the fuel cost. Save the receipt from the In-Warehouse tab within the two-year window, and note the business purpose and odometer reading next to it.
