Tax invoices
Personal accounts can request one from Order details, then Tax invoice. It can take from about 48 hours to 5 days to appear, and VAT invoices only exist where VAT applies.
Subscriptions that renew
Microsoft 365 and Xbox subscriptions are managed under Services & subscriptions. An unexpected charge, shown on statements as MICROSOFT* followed by a description, is often an auto-renewal; check there first.
Bought as a guest
An order placed without signing in will not be in your account. Use Microsoft's guest order lookup.
Work accounts
Business subscriptions are invoiced in the Microsoft 365 admin center under Billing, Bills & payments.
Microsoft orders recorded as they happen
Each Microsoft Store purchase or renewal sends a confirmation to the account's primary email, which email receipt capture can file the moment it lands. For the formal tax invoice, which can take several days to appear, connect the Microsoft account and our AI agent signs in and saves it from Order details through bill fetching. Subscription tracking catches the Game Pass or Microsoft 365 renewal before the MICROSOFT* charge surprises anyone.
