How to download Zendesk invoices
Founder & CEO, Smartbills

To download a Zendesk invoice, open Admin Center, select Account, then Billing and Invoices, open the invoice number and choose Download PDF. Only account owners and billing admins can see invoices. The list also shows each one's status: Paid, Unpaid, Partially paid, Processed or Refunded.
Getting the PDF
- In Admin Center, select Account in the sidebar.
- Choose Billing, then Invoices.
- Select an invoice number to open it, then Download PDF.
The list shows each invoice's date, number, amount, due date and status: Paid, Unpaid, Partially paid, Processed or Refunded.
Invoice details
An invoice's detail view lists every transaction against it (payments, credit memos, refunds and write-offs) with the remaining balance after each. Payment instructions, including wire details, are on the invoice itself.
Getting invoices to someone else
If you are not an owner or billing admin, the account owner can download an invoice and send it to you, or add you to the list of invoice recipients. Adding finance as a recipient is the lasting fix.
Subscription details
Plan and usage details are under Account, Billing, Subscription, separate from invoice history. Usage-based products show their usage there.
Zendesk QA and cancelled accounts
Some older Zendesk QA subscriptions with a card on file keep invoices under Account Settings, Subscription, Billing, then billing history. For a cancelled account, the owner has to ask Zendesk Customer Support for invoices.
Zendesk invoices routed to the books
Add a finance mailbox to Zendesk's invoice recipients and email receipt capture files each invoice as it is issued, no Admin Center access needed. For the PDF with its transaction detail, connect a billing admin login and our AI agent signs in and downloads each new invoice through bill fetching. Agent seats and add-ons change often; subscription tracking shows the trend.
