How to get Slack billing statements

Slack calls its invoices billing statements. Workspace owners, and the member who upgraded the workspace, can see them, and each statement is emailed to owners and billing contacts from feedback@slack.com.
Opening a past statement
- In the Slack desktop app, select Admin in the sidebar.
- Select Manage billing.
- Open the History tab.
- Select the calendar icon, choose a month and select Go To to open that statement.
Sending statements to accounting
Add billing contacts, such as your bookkeeper, under the Contacts tab. They receive Slack's billing emails and can view statements without being able to change billing details.
How tax appears
Slack uses your company address to decide which tax applies. VAT is shown as a separate line on statements, and so is US sales tax. In Canada, a business that enters a GST/HST number does not have GST/HST added to its invoices.
Adding your tax ID
Go to Admin, Manage billing, then Billing details, and enter your company name, address and VAT, GST/HST or ABN number. Changes apply to future statements only. If you pay by card, Slack cannot edit a statement once it has been issued. Get the details right before the next renewal. US organizations that are tax-exempt send their certificate to Slack's tax team instead.
Paying by invoice
Eligible workspaces paying annually can switch to invoicing and pay by cheque or bank transfer, from the Billing Details tab.
Slack statements captured from the email
Every Slack statement already goes out by email from feedback@slack.com to owners and billing contacts. Add a billing contact whose mailbox email receipt capture reads, and each statement is filed with the VAT or GST/HST line pulled out. If you would rather not depend on that email, connect a workspace owner account and our AI agent signs in, opens the History tab and saves each month's statement through bill fetching. Subscription tracking shows Slack's seat count changes month to month.
