Google Cloud keeps billing documents in the Cloud Billing section of the Google Cloud console. Which page you use depends on how your billing account pays.
Self-serve accounts
Accounts paying by card or bank account find most documents on the Invoices page. Search for a statement or invoice, then download it. One document downloads as a PDF; select several and you get a zip file with a PDF for each.
Receipts on the Transactions page
Payment receipts are not on the Invoices page. Open the Transactions page in the Cloud Billing console to find them.
Invoiced accounts
- Open the Payment status page.
- Select View all invoices and memos to include paid and closed documents.
- Use the Actions menu and choose Download documents, in PDF (the default) or CSV.
Billing roles finance needs
You need permission to view payment information on the billing account, which the Billing Account Viewer and Billing Account Administrator roles include. Give finance the viewer role rather than project access.
Project-level detail
Invoices and statements show monthly summaries. For a breakdown by project or service, use the Cost table report, which can be customized and downloaded as a CSV. That is the file to use when you rebill a client for their project.
Google Cloud documents collected each month
Connect a login with the Billing Account Viewer role and our AI agent signs in after each month closes, downloads the invoice or statement and the payment receipt from Transactions, and files them through bill fetching. Google's billing emails to your billing contacts can be filed by email receipt capture as they arrive, and subscription tracking follows the monthly total as usage moves.
