ExpressVPN invoices come from the Payment history page of your account at portal.expressvpn.com/invoices. Click the date of a payment, select Download invoice and confirm. ExpressVPN for Teams has its own path for administrators under Account & Billing, where the same documents are labelled receipts.
Personal subscription
- Go to the Payment history page and sign in if prompted.
- Click the date of the receipt you want.
- Select Download invoice, then confirm.
ExpressVPN notes that this download is being rolled out gradually. Some accounts may not see it yet.
Company name and VAT ID come from your account
The invoice pulls whatever billing information is saved on the account: name, company name, address and VAT ID. Empty fields stay empty on the PDF, which is a problem if your accountant needs the VAT ID to reclaim tax. Add them in the ExpressVPN+ portal, using ExpressVPN's guide to managing billing information, before you download.
ExpressVPN for Teams
Only administrators of a Teams account reach the billing documents. Sign in to the admin account, select Account & Billing, choose View next to Receipts, then Download receipt beside the invoice you need. A team member who needs a copy for an expense claim has to ask an admin for it. Keep the admin login with whoever handles the books, because Teams documents are only reachable from it.
Invoice lookup when the button is missing
Payment history is the lookup for every past charge, listed by date, and the date is what you click to reach each invoice. When Download invoice is greyed out or absent, or you have a special invoice request, ExpressVPN asks you to contact its support team. The support site lists support@expressvpn.com.
ExpressVPN renewals on the books
A yearly VPN renewal is exactly the kind of charge that surfaces on a card statement with no paperwork behind it. Connect the ExpressVPN account, or the Teams admin login, and our AI agent signs in after each renewal and downloads the invoice through bill fetching. Staff who paid on a personal card can attach it to an expense report, and the tax line is kept for filing season.
