How to get Box invoices
Founder & CEO, Smartbills

To get Box invoices, sign in as an account administrator and open app.box.com/billing. Under Billing History, turn on the invoices folder: an Invoices from Box folder then collects past and future invoices in your Box account, which you can share with finance.
The billing page
Sign in as an account administrator and go to the billing page at app.box.com/billing. The Billing Information section shows the payment method, charge details and account type.
The Invoices from Box folder
Box can drop your invoices into a folder in your own Box account:
- On the billing page, find Billing History.
- Turn on the option to create the invoices folder.
- A folder called Invoices from Box appears in the administrator's All Files view. Past and future invoices are added within about 24 hours.
The administrator can share that folder with finance, which is the simplest way to give them invoices without admin rights.
Asking Box for a payment receipt
For a receipt of a payment, email Box's billing team or submit a billing request while signed in to the paid account.
Billing contact and card
Box's help center covers updating the billing contact and the credit card on file. Keep the billing contact current so invoice emails reach the right person.
Box's W-9
US vendor setup often needs a W-9. Box publishes its W-9 on its support site for download.
The Admin Console
The Admin Console's Account & Billing page is for changing the account and reaching Box's sales team; invoices live on the billing page and in the folder.
Box invoices collected from the folder
Since Box can put every invoice into a shared folder, sharing it with finance already beats forwarding emails. Connect the administrator login and our AI agent signs in after each renewal and saves new invoices into Smartbills through bill fetching, next to the rest of your software spend. Billing emails from Box can be filed by email receipt capture, and subscription tracking shows seat counts and the renewal date.
