Virgin Plus

To get a Virgin Plus bill, log in to My Account at virginplus.ca/viewbill. For the full version, scroll down and click Download detailed bill (PDF). Your billing history goes back up to 18 months.

  1. Go to virginplus.ca and click Log in.
  2. Enter your My Account username and password.
  3. Click My bill and choose the account.
  4. Select the bill date you want.
  5. Click Print, then choose Detailed bill (PDF) or Bill overview, and print.

The detailed PDF is the version to keep. The overview is a summary.

Switching to e-Bill

Virgin Plus began moving Members to paperless e-Bill in July 2019. If you still get paper, switch at virginplus.ca/billformat. In the My Account app, go to Profile, then My Profile, then Billing and Services, edit Billing Format and pick E-Bill. Keep your email address current so the bill notice reaches you.

Reading the monthly bill

Each e-Bill recaps the previous bill, lists new charges, carries messages from Virgin Plus and shows your payment options. Monthly charges are billed a month ahead, while usage such as roaming or data overage is billed for the month just ended. The account summary shows two numbers: your Account Number, used to register for My Account, and your Client ID Number, used for online banking. Roaming voice calls are listed in Coordinated Universal Time, while roaming data and texts appear in Eastern Time, which explains timestamps that look off.

Your first bill looks different

Virgin Plus warns that the first bill is not like the rest and keeps a separate First Bill explainer. Check it line by line before you file it as a regular monthly cost.

Paying a Virgin Plus bill and setting up pre-authorized payments

For a one-time payment in the My Account app, hit Pay Now, enter the amount and pick a saved card or a new Mastercard, Visa or American Express card issued in Canada. Online or telephone banking with Virgin Plus as the payee takes 2 to 5 business days.

To set up pre-authorized payments from a bank account in the app:

  1. Open the My Account app and hit My Profile.
  2. Choose Sign-up for Pre-authorized Payment and enter the transit number, bank code and account number.
  3. Hit Continue, agree to the terms and select Submit bank information.

A credit card can be set up instead at virginplus.ca/preauthsignup. Only bank payments earn the Autopay credit of $10 per line on eligible plans; debit card numbers do not count. Since pre-authorized debit takes the full bill total, the e-Bill, not your bank statement, is the line-by-line record to keep.

Virgin Plus bills saved as detailed PDFs

The detailed PDF sits a scroll away from the summary most people see, and it is gone after 18 months. Connect My Account and our AI agent logs in each month, downloads the detailed bill and keeps it, through bill fetching. The e-Bill notice is filed by email receipt capture, and a phone plan paid for work can go on your next expense report.
