How to download a GFL Environmental invoice

Invoices & Payments in MyAccount

1. Log in to MyAccount. You land on the Overview page.
2. Select Invoices & Payments in the menu on the left.
3. Find the invoice in the list of the past year's invoices and download it as a PDF or CSV.

The CSV is useful if you track waste costs across several sites in a spreadsheet.

Finding your account number

Your account number is in the upper left corner of the invoice and on the tear-off payment section. You need it to set up MyAccount.

eBilling and AutoPay

MyAccount customers can sign up for eBilling, which replaces paper invoices, and for AutoPay. Both are set up inside the portal.

Paying

You can pay online, by phone or by mail. Phone numbers vary by region and are printed on your invoice, and cheques go to the remittance address on the invoice. Online payments can take up to two business days to show in your account. In the US, MyAccount and Guest Checkout also accept digital wallets.

Guest Checkout

To pay without logging in, use Guest Checkout with your customer number, account number or invoice number. It does not give access to past invoices.

Older than a year

MyAccount lists the past year of invoices. Download each one before it drops off if you need it for tax records, which run six years in Canada.

GFL invoices saved past the one-year mark

A one-year online history is shorter than your record-keeping obligations. Connect MyAccount and our AI agent signs in each billing period and downloads the new invoice, PDF or CSV, through bill fetching, keeping years of history instead of twelve months. With eBilling on, GFL's invoice emails can be filed by email receipt capture, and the GST or HST on each bill is ready for tax time.
