Fido

Fido keeps your bills online for up to 18 months after they are issued. You need to be the account holder to view them, and the online bill carries the same information as a paper one.

Viewing a past bill

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. From the top navigation, select Billing & Payments, then View Bill.
  3. Use the bill date drop-down to choose the statement.
  4. Save or print it as a PDF.

The same bills are in the Fido My Account app, and you can download your usage as a spreadsheet.

Switching to online billing

Register for My Account first, then go to Profile & Settings, choose the account, find Billing Type and switch to online billing. Paper bills stop and Fido emails you when each bill is ready. Fido is moving to paperless billing; customers 65 or older, without internet or a data plan, or with accessibility needs can ask for paper.

Reprints

Bills older than 18 months are not online. A reprint requested from Customer Care carries an administrative charge, while bills you download within the 18-month window are free.

A cancelled account

Register on Fido.ca and link the old account with its account number, name, date of birth and postal code. You can then view past bills in My Account.

Phone bills for a business

If you claim part of your Fido bill as a business cost, keep each PDF: it shows the GST/HST you can claim back.

Paying a Fido bill and setting up automatic payments

In My Account, click Make A Payment under Billing & Payments and the payment posts immediately. So does a payment through the automated system at *28 or 1-888-481-3436 (press * for self-service). For online or telephone banking, choose Pay Now, then Pay through your bank, and note the payee name FIDO and your Bank Payment ID; that route takes 5 business days.

To set up automatic payments on the website:

  1. Sign in to My Account and select Set up an Automatic Payment.
  2. Choose Bank Account or Credit Card and enter the details.
  3. Select Continue, accept the terms and select Submit.

The charge lands about 14 days after each bill, and the first can take a full billing cycle. Since September 15, 2026, Fido ties the Auto-Pay Discount to two methods: a bank debit or a Rogers Bank credit card. Keep each bill: it shows the discount and the sales taxes a business claims.

Fido bills kept without downloading

Once online billing is on, Fido emails you when each bill is ready, and email receipt capture catches that notice. The bill itself sits behind My Account, which is where bill fetching comes in: connect the account and our AI agent signs in each month, saves the PDF and reads the GST/HST for tax time. The 18-month limit and the reprint fee stop being your problem.
