Bell Business

Bell's small business customers manage bills in Business Self serve, separate from the consumer MyBell. It keeps up to the last 18 months of bills to download, save or print.

Registering

To register a new user you need either the ebill code from a bill, or the account number, postal code and amount due from your latest invoice.

Downloading a past bill

  1. Log in to Business Self serve and go to Bills and payments.
  2. Select Past bills.
  3. Under View bill, select the date of the bill you need.
  4. Select Download, then Complete bill to PDF.

Exporting to a spreadsheet

Use Export page to CSV to download the page you are viewing as a spreadsheet, useful for comparing lines across months or allocating costs by user.

Larger accounts

Medium and large businesses with mobility accounts use Bell Corporate Self Serve, where invoice downloads default to CSV; choose Invoices (PDF) for PDFs. Bell's Online Bill Manager, part of its Business Portal, handles invoice downloads, payment and billing and usage reports.

GST/HST, QST and input tax credits

Business phone and internet bills carry GST/HST or GST and QST, and the bill is the document that supports the input tax credit. CRA asks for the supplier's registration number on purchases of $100 or more, which Bell's bills carry.

Paying a Bell Business bill and pre-authorized payments

Business Self serve pays several bills in one pass. Click Bills and payments, tick the bills you want to settle and click Pay bills. Then choose a payment method for each bill, adjust the date or amount if needed, click Continue and finish with Submit to complete.

Recurring payments are set up from the same menu:

  1. Under Bills and payments, open Payments and click Set up pre-authorized payment.
  2. Pick the payment option from the drop-down and, under Scheduled payment date, the date payments should start.
  3. Click Continue, accept the terms and conditions and click Submit.

Bell's help pages do not list which payment methods the drop-down offers; check it while logged in. Automating payment does not automate the paperwork: the PDF bill for each account, with its GST/HST and QST lines, is still what an input tax credit claim needs at filing time.

Bell Business bills filed before they roll off

Eighteen months of history is shorter than the six years tax records need. Connect Business Self serve and our AI agent signs in after each bill is issued, downloads the complete bill PDF and records the GST/HST or QST for tax time, through bill fetching. Bell's ebill notification emails can be logged by email receipt capture, and multi-site businesses get every account's bill in one place.
