How to get a Vidéotron bill

Vidéotron bills are viewed online, on one of two platforms depending on your services. Helix services are billed in My Account, while Mobile, illico, Hybrid Fibre Internet and Home Phone are billed in the Customer Centre (Espace client). Both open from the same login screen, and the bill is also in the User Centre + app. With e-billing you get a notification when a new bill is ready, and the bill itself stays in your account.
My Account or Customer Centre?
If you're not sure where your bill is, the billing or payment notifications Vidéotron emails you tell you which platform it's on. Some customers get two bills, one on each platform, each with its own account number and paid separately. In My Account, View my other bill in the Overview sends you to the Customer Centre.
Past bills: 36 months
Bills for the past 36 months are saved in the Invoice History section of My Account or the Customer Centre, where you can download the PDF. In the Customer Centre, you have to be subscribed to online billing to see past bills, and they become available from the date you signed up. If several accounts are linked to your profile, pick the right one first.
Reading the bill
Four details matter on every Vidéotron bill: the account number at the top right, the invoice date (when the bill was produced, not when it's due), the invoice period, and the due date or pre-authorized payment date. Services are always billed in advance. The first bill is the one that looks high: it covers two months, the current one and the next, and can include one-time purchase or activation fees.
Paper bills
Services in My Account are billed online only. Customer Service can set you up for a paper bill if you are 65 or older, live with a disability, or don't subscribe to a Residential Internet plan or a Mobile plan with data.
The notification isn't the bill
The email that announces the bill isn't a supporting document. For an employee reimbursed for a phone plan, or to claim the GST and QST, attach the bill PDF, which lists the services, the taxes and the registration numbers.
Paying a Vidéotron bill and preauthorized payments
How you pay depends on where the bill lives. A bill in My Account can be paid by credit card with Make a payment, but not by cheque. A Customer Centre bill cannot be paid on that site: call the automated line at 1-866-380-2967 (option 2), or mail a cheque or money order to Vidéotron Ltd., P.O. Box 11078, Downtown Branch, Montreal (QC) H3C 5B7 at least 5 business days before the due date. Online banking works for both, with Videotron added as a service provider.
Vidéotron recommends preauthorized payment from a bank account. In My Account:
- Go to Billing & Payment and open the Payment methods tab.
- Under Your saved bank information, select Add a bank account, or choose Add Credit Card for card payments.
In the Customer Centre, select Sign up for preauthorized payments under Your invoice. Each bill still needs saving, since a withdrawal never says which service or tax it covers.
Bills that arrive on their own
The bill notification reaches your inbox, where email receipt capture spots it. For the PDF itself, connect your account: our AI agent signs in each cycle and files the bill with the period, amount and taxes through bill fetching.
