Optimum

Optimum keeps your current bill and up to 12 months of older statements at optimum.net/mybill. Sign in with your Optimum ID and password, open a statement, then download or print it. The Pay bill link at the top of optimum.net handles payments.

Use the primary Optimum ID

Billing is tied to the account's primary Optimum ID. Signed in with another ID, you are asked to sign in as the primary one to view and pay the bill, or to have the primary ID grant access to additional users. In a shared household or office, ask whoever set up the service to add you.

Paperless statements

Optimum's paperless billing lets you review, print, download or save statements online at any time. Every bill shows your Auto Pay and Paperless Billing status on the first page, and optimum.com/autopay is where you enroll in both.

What a statement shows

The Account Summary at the top of each page gives your account number, access code and billing dates. The first page breaks down your previous balance and payments, one-time activity, current charges, taxes and fees, and the total amount due highlights recent credits, one-time fees or service changes.

Optimum Business accounts

  1. Go to business.optimum.net and sign in with your Optimum ID and password.
  2. Place your cursor on My Account and click Pay My Bill.
  3. Your current statement and the previous 12 are listed; click a date to open one.
  4. Download it as a PDF or print it.

Payments and Pay Per View purchases made after a bill is generated appear on the next online statement, not the current one.

Suddenlink has become Optimum. Former Suddenlink customers sign in at optimum.net with the same username, now called an Optimum ID, and keep the same account number. Statements from the Suddenlink days are at optimum.net/mybill too, up to 12 months back.

Paying an Optimum bill and enrolling in Auto Pay

Quick Pay needs no login: enter the account number from the top of your bill and the ZIP code on the account, then pay by card or bank account. Signed in, you can make or schedule a one-time payment, and the My Optimum app lists payment options under My Account, then Billing. The automated line at 866.213.7456 takes check or card payments with no added fee. Paying through an Optimum Expert has carried a $5 Payment Assistance Fee since June 3, 2025. Optimum Stores, CheckFreePay and Western Union take payments in person.

Auto Pay charges a bank account, debit card or credit card on each due date and starts with the next billing cycle after you sign up. Clear the current balance with a one-time payment first, and expect an email whenever a monthly payment is processed. Those emails only confirm the amount paid. The monthly statement is still the itemized record to keep.

Keeping Optimum bills past month 12

A one-year window is short when your accountant wants last year and the year before. Through bill fetching, our AI agent signs in with the primary Optimum ID each month and saves the new statement before it ages out of My Bill. Paperless notices that arrive by email are filed by email receipt capture, and the internet bill is on hand when you claim a home office with tax receipts.
