WP Engine invoices are in the User Portal at my.wpengine.com. Click Billing, then Invoice, and find the invoice in the Invoices section. Click its number to see the details or download a PDF. Credit memos download the same way. Only the Owner and users with Full or Partial access with billing can reach these pages.
The Billing Invoice page
Besides the invoices, the page shows your balance, payment details and your Account, Customer or Hosting ID in the top right. Each invoice lists the amount due, billing information, company name, service dates, plan, tax, product extensions, overages, payments or credits and the total.
One billing contact per renewal
The renewal invoice goes to a single billing email. WP Engine suggests an email distribution list if several people need it. Change the address and the company name with Update contact info or Edit in the Billing contact section. A billing contact doesn't get a User Portal login. Add them on the Users tab if they need one.
Paying and declined cards
Users with billing access update the card with Update Payment Info in the Payment Method section. Resaving payment details retries any outstanding charges. If your company processes invoices internally and fears a suspension, send proof of payment and WP Engine marks the account as payment en route.
Sales tax
Tax is based on the billing address shown on the Billing Invoice page. WP Engine lists 18 states, Washington, D.C. and Chicago where it collects, covering subscription, transaction, service and support fees. In some of those states only certain SaaS product extensions are taxed. Send an exemption certificate to Billing Support by email or chat, and future invoices won't carry sales tax.
WP Engine invoices beyond one inbox
With one billing contact per renewal, set that address to email receipt capture and each invoice is filed when WP Engine sends it. Overages and credit memos arrive between renewals. Connect a login with billing access and our AI agent downloads them from the Billing Invoice page with bill fetching. Sales tax on each invoice stays ready for your tax receipts.
