How to get a WordPress.com receipt

WordPress.com receipts are in your account under Billing, Billing History, newest first. Click the three-dot menu next to a purchase and choose View receipt to print it, or Email receipt to send a copy to your account email. WordPress.com doesn't issue invoices. The receipt is the accounting record, showing the amount paid, the date and any tax.
Receipt lookup with filters
The search box finds receipts by date, product name or site name. The Add Filter icon to its right narrows the list by app (Jetpack, WooCommerce or WordPress.com), by month, or by type: new purchase, recurring or refund. A second filter can be added with the Add filter link.
Adding a business address or VAT number
Open View receipt and click the Billing details box to enter a business address, or a VAT or GST number. This doesn't change the receipt emailed at the time of purchase. Use Email receipt afterwards to get a copy with the new details. Tax details changed in account settings later only apply to future purchases.
Sending receipts to someone else
Receipts only go to the account email. To share one with an accountant, add the billing details, email the receipt to yourself and forward it. There is no bulk export: for a full year, filter by month and save each receipt one at a time.
Matching a charge on your statement
Each receipt shows a Transaction ID. On a card statement, the charge may carry a 9 or 10 character code with a WordPress.com-related name or a "WP*" prefix. PayPal payments appear under "Automattic Inc." with a 17-character ID. You can also search your inbox for "WordPress.com Receipt", since a receipt is emailed for every purchase and automatic renewal.
WordPress.com receipts without saving them one by one
Without a bulk export, a year of plan, domain and add-on renewals means a lot of clicking. Forward the automatic receipt emails to email receipt capture and each one is filed with its tax. Our AI agent can also sign in and save receipts from Billing History with bill fetching, and the GST or VAT on each is kept for your tax receipts.
