Wave's receipts for the Pro Plan and the Receipts Plan come from Billing history if you subscribed in a web browser. Log in at waveapps.com, click your business name at the top right, then Business settings, choose Manage Subscriptions under Other, click Manage subscription and select Billing history. If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, Apple or Google holds the receipt instead.
Wave's bill to you, not invoices you send
Most searches for a Wave invoice are about the invoicing tool Wave gives you for billing your own customers. This guide covers the opposite direction: what Wave charges you for a paid plan and where the receipt for that charge is.
Downloading the web receipt
- Log in at waveapps.com.
- Click your business name, then Business settings.
- Under Other in the Settings menu, select Manage Subscriptions.
- Click Manage subscription, then Billing history.
The receipt downloads straight to your device.
Subscribed in the mobile app
On an Apple device, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then Purchase History, select the purchase and tap Resend Receipt. Apple sends it to the email on your App Store account, where you can download it. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, select Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & history, tap the purchase and select View.
One subscription per business
A Pro or Receipts Plan covers one business profile. With several businesses in Wave, each needs its own subscription and produces its own receipts. Subscribe the extra businesses on the web, because the mobile app allows a plan on one business profile only. Both plans can be billed monthly or annually, in US dollars in the US and Canadian dollars in Canada.
Wave's own receipts, kept with your other software
Wave is where many small businesses keep their books, which makes its own subscription receipt easy to overlook. Our AI agent can log in to Wave and save each web receipt from Billing history through bill fetching. A receipt Apple resends by email is filed by email receipt capture, and the year's plan payments, one set per business, go into your tax receipts.
