Chase

To download a Chase bank statement, sign in to chase.com, open the Main Menu in the top left of your dashboard and choose Statements & documents. Pick the year and the account, then use the Open or Save icon beside the month you need. Depending on the account type, Chase keeps up to seven years of statements online.

Statement lookup on chase.com

  1. Sign in and select the Main Menu symbol in the top left corner.
  2. Choose Statements & documents.
  3. Select the year, then the checking, savings or card account.
  4. Use the Open icon to view the PDF, or the Save icon to keep a copy.

The year filter is the fastest way to collect twelve months for a tax return or a loan file.

In the Chase Mobile app

Go to Profile & Settings, then Statements & documents inside Document manager. Tap Statements, pick the account, then the year and the month. The statement opens as a PDF that you can share or save to your phone.

Statements versus account activity

A statement is the bank's monthly record: opening balance, every posted item, fees and closing balance. Account activity is a running list you can filter and export. Chase's Spending Planner page, under its tax-season download section, lists a PDF covering the last calendar year. On a desktop computer the same tool also offers a spreadsheet (CSV), Quicken Web Connect (QFX), Quicken or Microsoft Money (QIF) and QuickBooks Web Connect (QBO). Bookkeepers usually want the CSV or QBO file for import and the PDF statement as the document of record.

Statements older than the online window

Chase's statements pages don't describe a way to order copies beyond what shows online, and they send questions to Chase customer service. If you might need a statement for an audit or a mortgage application later, save the PDFs each year while they are still listed.

What a Chase statement proves, and what it doesn't

A statement shows the date, the merchant name and the amount. It does not show the items bought or the sales tax charged. For a business expense, the merchant's receipt is still the record that backs the deduction.

Chase statements filed for you every month

Connect your Chase login and our AI agent signs in after each cycle closes, saves the new statement PDF and files it, through bill fetching. The receipts behind each card line come in through email receipt capture, and both sit together for tax time.
